That a reason why injection system is not popular for taxi, they drive a car all 24hrs a day, they want a system that have durability but engine efficiency, emission control are not there target, they have garage and technician themselves, they can tune up gas system every day if they want. If engine broke down, they can fix it in 48 hrs for sure.
For me, engine efficiency, reliability and emission control of the engine, all are the target of injection installation. I don't have garage in my house. The reliability of my car (not gas system) is important for me.
I can drive around Thailand without anxiousness about backfired, heating, and engine efficiency, engine refuse to run etc. All of engine sensors are still working to calculate the properly A/F, not much to emission left from your car, not to much heat for exhaust temperature.
You can say that you can tune power valve until A/F is clean, but the efficiency of burning in chamber still does not 100% for sure, if it good enough, you must never see a fuel injection system, a car manufacturer must not design injection system to compensate a carburetion weakness system.
Up to 15000 km, I never drove back to the garage who install for fixing a problem.
In worst case, gas injection system was malfunction, I can drive by gasoline system back home for sure.
In long term, Fumigation system, if you did not adjust valve clearance more frequency, than you ever did, you may necessary to change a new engine, I know that you know a reason why.
The opening engine cap to setting valve clearance cost for 2 times, a cost is close to buy a new injection set.
It depends on you ana. You get what you pay.
