รัฐบาลออสเตรเลียสนับสนุนการใช้ LPG ในรถยนต์

รัฐบาลออสเตรเลียให้การสนับสนุนการใช้ LPG ในรถยนต์ส่วนบุคคล ซึ่งโครงการนี้
เริ่มมาตั้งแต่ สิงหาคม คศ. 2006 (พ.ศ. 2549) จนถีง มิถุนายน 2014 (พ.ศ. 2557) เป็นเวลา 8 ปี
โดยให้เงินเจ้าของรถทีนั่งที่ใช้ส่่วนตัวในการดัดแปลงใช้ LPG คันละ 2 พันเหรียญออสเตรเีลีย
( 64,165.94 บาท) หรือประมาณหกหมื่นสี่พันบาท
ไม่ว่าจะเป็นรถเก่าหรือรถใหม่
และสำหรับรถใหม่ที่ติดตั้งระบบ LPG จากโรงงาน รัฐบาลสนับสนุนให้ พันเหรียญ
(32,084.64 บาท)

LATEST NEWS: Government announces that LPG Vehicle Scheme will continue at 13 May 2008 budget.
The Federal Government provides grants to purchase an LPG vehicle or for converting a diesel or petrol vehicle to run on LPG.
The "LPG Vehicle Scheme" commenced on 14 August 2006, runs until 3่0 June 2014 (8 Years) and is administered by AusIndustry.
The grants include the following:
$2,000 toward the cost of an LPG conversion of a new or used motor vehicle for non-business use
$1,000 toward a factory-fitted LPG vehicle for non-business use
