กระทู้นี้เพื่อเปิดกว้างทัศนคติและแนวนโยบายของต่างประเทศเกี่ยวกับการใช้แก้ส LPG ในรถยนต์ที่เรียกว่า autogas สืบเนื่องจาก ปตท. และรัฐบาลมีนโยบายจำกัดการใช้ LPG ในรถยนต์และส่งเสริม NGV แทน เรามาดูกันว่าประเทศอื่นๆ เขามีนโยบายอย่างไร

http://66.102.7.104/search?q=cache:-GFfQ_rQ7uQJ:www.legco.gov.hk/yr99-00/english/panels/tp/reports/a1664e.pdf+hongkong+conversion+lpg+filetype:pdf&hl=th ที่เป็นเอกสารรายงานของคณะกรรมาธิการเรื่องการขนส่งที่เสนอต่อสภาผู้แทนของฮ่องกง (Report of the Panel on Transportfor submission to the Legislative Council) เสนอต่อสภาฯ เมื่อ 21 มิถุนายน ค.ศ. 2000 คณะกรรมาธิการนี้มีสมาชิกเป็นผู้แทน 16 ท่านซึ่งมีที่ปรึกษาผู้เชี่ยวชาญให้ความเห็นเกี่ยวกับนโยบายการขนส่งของฮ่องกง ในเอกสาร 6 หน้านี้ มีข้อเสนอแนะเชิงนโยบาย 20 ข้อ ข้อที่ 5 ของหน้า 2 คณะกรรมาธิการสรุปผลการศึกษาจากการสัมมนาว่า เพื่อส่งเสริมคุณภาพชีวิตของคนฮ่องกง จีงเสนอให้มีมาตรการดึงดูดใจให้รถแทกซีทั้งหมดมาใช้ LPG จากการใช้ดีเซล ด้วยมาตรการให้เงินสนับสนุน สร้างปั้ม LPG และมีการบำรุงรักษารถยนต์ที่ใช้ LPG ทั้ง 20 ข้อที่เป็นข้อเสนอเชิงนโยบายต่อรัฐบาลฮ่องกงไม่มีที่ใดกล่าวถึงการใช้ NGV เลย ดูข้อความที่ยกมาได้ ...
" 5.The Panel recognized that the quality of life in Hong Kong was directly related to the quality of the environment. Improvement of air quality had to bepursued from all angles, in particular on the transport front. During the session, the Panel held a series of joint meetings with the Panel on Environmental Affairs to review measures to control emissions from diesel vehicles to improve air quality as well as the development of an environmentally sustainable transport system in the context of CTS-3. Members urged the Administration to introduce practical and clean alternativesto diesel vehicles and ensure proper maintenance of in-use vehicles. The joint Panels also met with representatives of the trade and other interested parties and explored with them the means to assist the trade to upgrade their maintenance standard with a view to alleviating the pollution problem. While supportingthe launch of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) taxi scheme, the joint Panels stressed the need to provide financial incentives to motivate taxi drivers to replace the diesel fleet, to put in place adequate supporting measures, includingLPG filling stations, maintenance workshops and mechanics for servicing LPG taxis and to keep the price of automobile LPG and the operating cost of LPG taxis at reasonable levels to facilitate conversion.
