Operation Instruction
1. Open the back cover and cased the 1.5VAA batteries according to their polarity.
2. Turn switch to the top, the power LED will be on, green LED shows the normal voltage and the orange LED show the
low voltage. The power LED will be always on during this detection.
3. After turn on the switch, there will be a 10 seconds for warm-up, then it gets into detection status. During detection If
red LED flashes along with the buzzer sound discontinuously, shows the gas leakage being over the low alarming
level; If the red LED keep lighting along with the buzzer sound continuously, shows gas leakage being over the high
alarming level. Please take effective action to get rid of the danger.
4. When the black fault LED turns on, shows its gas sensor with fault itself.

Electricity circuit debugging :
Refers to the above circuit, Check all the assemblage, connecting the power supply, the green LED should light, When testing, the E1, E2 should be 9V, 5V separately. The pin8 of U1should be at low voltage (about 0.3v), There is a delay lasting about 5 minutes caused by the delay circuit with IC,U1:C shall prevent the false alarm at first connecting power supply, Introducing R14 of different resistance value or C3 (capacitance)of various capacitance can adjust the delay time. After about 5 minutes ,the delay ends, then the pin8 of U1:C should be at a high voltage (about 3.8V) .When detecting in clean air ,the both sides voltage (Vo) of R1 should be 0.2~1 V, otherwise should make the V0 fall into the above range through change R1 resistance value; Connecting the V0 to 100O to +5V (E2), adjust the resistance(RP) slightly, the RED LED should light accordingly. The Pin 7 of U1:B will become 3.8V from the 0.3V of static state., at the mean time .driving the buzzer to sound. If the component assemblage is correct, we can debug the above circuit, Take out the resistance between the E2 and V0, the debugging end.
Testing through Calibration gas
Preheating the gas leak alarm for 10 minutes, Making the calibrating gas concentration according to volume proportion, put the gas leak alarm in the calibrated gas. after 10 seconds ,the gas sensor sensing the gas adequately , then adjust the RP slightly to make buzzer sound exactly and RED LED light, the calibration will be completed after repeated it several times.
Installation
If the detected gas is LPG, Butane and propane which is heavier than normal air, Install the gas leak alarm about 1.00 meter above the ground, adversely, For the Natural gas, Methane, coal gas, CO and H2, which is lighter than the normal air, Install gas leak alarm about 1 meter below the roof, Both of them are should be with good air circulation.

Gas Detector Safety Precautions
1. Never ignore a high alarm condition. This gas detector is designed to detect
hazardous atmospheric conditions. An indication of life threatening hazards should
be taken seriously.
2. Turn on, and allow the unit to warm up, before entering the area when gases are
to be detected.
3. High or off-scale readings may indicate a flammable gas concentration.
4. Before entering an area for testing, make a test of the unit in a safe area with a
small amount of known gas from a container. Then test again with clean air. The
reading should return to zeros.
5. Where a high or alarm condition is detected, evacuate the affected area and
contact the local fire department, gas company, or other proper authorities from
outside the affected area. Without switching on any electrical devices, properly
ventilate the area before reentering and retest.
6. Do not store or use this device in or around corrosive gases.
7. Do not drop this device. Damage will occur to the internal components.
8. Charge batteries and switch unit on or off only in a nonhazardous atmospheric
location.
9. Some vapor compounds may affect the operation of the sensor. Always use
your sense of smell to supplement the readings of the detector. If your sense
of smell detects gas that the meter does not, get the detector calibrated imintended.
Do not modify this tool and do not use this tool for a purpose for which
it was not intended.
6. Check for damaged parts. Before using any tool, any part that appears damaged
should be carefully checked to determine that it will operate properly and perform
its intended function. Any part that is damaged should be properly repaired or
replaced by a qualified technician. Do not use the tool if any switch does not turn
On and Off properly.

Please take effective action to get rid of the danger.
4. When the yellow fault LED turns on, shows its gas sensor with fault itself.
Calibration of the gas detector may be necessary by a qualified technician. If the sensor fails calibration, have the sensor replaced by a qualified technician. Never use any source of ignition to test the accuracy of this device.
Warning: The warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction
manual cannot cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It
must be understood by the operator that common sense and caution are factors
which cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator.
Note: Gases that are heavier than air, such as propane, can be detected nearer the
floor.
Warning: When the WARNING HIGH alarm is sounding, leave the room immediately.
Properly ventilate the area before reentering.
Only after leaving the test area, press the On/Off Switch to the Off position.
